David D. Greene III, President

A distinguished career developing marketing and public relations strategies for some of America’s most respected charitable causes and organizations is the result of David’s passion for social change. His portfolio of work spans more than a decade and touts efforts like Buckle Up America, The March…Coming Together To Conquer Cancer, Million Mom March and Stand For Children. David is Founder and Chief Principal of Urbanomics. He is a graduate of State University of New York at Stony Brook and trained as a management consultant in the strategic development of marketing channels for multi-national corporations.

Marvin R. Randolph, Managing Partner

Marvin is a 16-year veteran of political campaigns and recognized nationally as an expert in voter contact strategy. Marvin brings a unique set of campaign management skills. As a senior campaign strategist for nearly a decade and having successfully managed operations for some of America’s most watched political battles, he has earned a reputation for winning tough initiatives – electoral, referendum and issue. His work includes serving as Director of 3 state primary operations for President Clinton, Southern California Field Director for the AFL-CIO’s Labor ’98 campaign, and Los Angeles Field Director for Labor’s “No on Proposition 226” campaign. He is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a Political Science degree.

Julia M. Spraggins, Vice President

Julia brings extensive media outreach experience including expertise reaching national and local media outlets on many issues. She has provided media outreach support on a range of projects for various clients including Entergy, The National Education Association, RWJF and the National Institute of Health. She also has supported several health education campaigns such as Covering Kids & Families, and the Air Bag and Seat Belt Safety Campaign. She has secured repeated placements with various outlets including Profiles in Diversity Journal, BET, American Urban Radio Network, Essence, Heart and Soul magazines, and other urban format affliates in large media markets….

Julia A. Scrivens, Director

Julia has over a decade of sales, account management and customer service experience. She establishes and forecasts marketing and business development, manages functional teams and sub-committees, and provides support and direction to the President on overall organizational marketing and branding strategy. She also manages and supports the overall strategic direction of the company’s existing client portfolio. Treva Lindsey, Research Associate

Treva provides clients with scholarly-level research and writing for developing and executing communications and strategic plans. She also conducts research for various projects Urbanomics undertakes. Treva is a doctoral candidate and Duke Endowment Fellow in the Department of History at Duke University. She received her B.A. from Oberlin College and her M.A. in History from Duke University. She has served as a program coordinator and board member for the John Hope Franklin Scholars Program and is currently a Program Assistant and Admissions Coordinator for the Reginaldo Howard Scholarship Program. Kijana Mburu, Junior Associate

As junior associate, Kijana provides account and program management for the firm’s clients. His responsibilities include meeting planning and support, member communications, organizational materials development and other account management support. Kijana received his B.A. in Psychology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has experience in customer relations and office management. Prior to his move to Washington, DC Metropolitan area, Kijana resided in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Lesley M. Cothran, Junior Associate

As junior associate, Lesley assists in the production and coordination of key materials that support client specific communications strategies. Her responsibilities include drafting materials, media outreach and account management support. Lesley received her B.A. in Journalism from Howard University. She has experience in political campaigns, media promotions and event management. Prior to attending college in Washington, DC, Lesley resided in St. Louis, Missouri.

Eric Wingo, Junior Associate

Eric is a junior associate, Eric Wingo provides research and statistical data analysis for the firm¹s clients. His responsibilities include data compilation, drafting articles for The Catalyst, and assisting with marketing and business development strategies. He received his B.A. in Journalism from Howard University. Prior to attending college in Washington, DC, Eric resided in Southfield, Michigan.
